On January 8, 1967 Zbigniew Cybulski — considered as the polish James Dean — died on his way to the film set as he jumped for an already speeding train.
Two years earlier: “Salto” by Tadeusz Konwicki begins with the same actor jumping off a moving train near a small village in Poland. Before the mysterious stranger eventually escapes in the same way he appeared (jumping on a train), he leads the village people in a dream-like dance called the “Salto”.
